In 1 Corinthians 11:1, the Apostle Paul says, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” Sometimes it can be daunting to follow Jesus in Christlikeness, but it might seem a little bit easier to follow someone else who follows Jesus. In the church, each of us should find someone who follows Jesus and follow that person. Additionally, each of us should beckon someone else to follow us as we strive to follow both another person in Christlikeness and to follow Jesus Christ Himself.
In this series, we will learn from biblical examples those who followed others toward Christlikeness and we will begin to focus on the eight primary practices of followers of Jesus. Everyone will be encouraged to enter into a discipleship relationship and weekly to follow each other’s examples as we all grow in Christlikeness.
