Alan has been married to Joy for 14 years. They have four children, Madison, 12, Jonathan 8, Megan 6, and Justin, 4.  Alan worked for GCC part time before joining the staff full time in 1998 and has been an active member for 13 years.  He is currently the Minister of Music & Media for GCC. Alan is an alumni of the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps and  Christian Campus House at MSU organizations and a founding member of Six Steps (the GCC worship band). Alan and Joy host the college/career class at GCC on Sunday mornings and share the teaching responsibilities with Jim Clay who is now the Director of Maranatha Bible Camp & Retreat Center.  Alan and Joy also host the "From 8 'Til Late" Fellowship at their home each Friday night.  Alan is known for playing lots of instruments, late night games at "From 8 Til Late" and is always juggling multiple projects at the same time...he can often be found buried under all the stuff on his desk!
