At Kids Korner Preschool we fell that the early childhood years are a
critical time during the development of a child’s perceptions of self, others,
the world, and God. The goal of our curriculum is to stimulate the child’s
development physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially while maintaining a
strong spiritual emphasis throughout.
Our classes will involve three central educational components
each of which are patterned to aid in particular areas of development. During
each class time, the children will be given the opportunity to participate in
free choice activities, small group experiences, and whole group
teacher-directed activities. Free choice activities allow the children to
develop personal interests and self-expression. Small group experiences are
designed to strengthen social skills and to provide individual attention. Whole
group activities are intended to aid in the development of listening skills and
the ability to follow directions, and to also allow participation in a large
group.
The curriculum at Kids Korner Preschool has a monthly theme and a weekly
