Raised as a preacher’s kid, Seth cannot remember a time when ministry and people were not the most important part of his life. His passion is to preach, teach and train others to fulfill the Great Commission. He believes all Christians enjoy the amazing privilege to have God live inside of them. When we love each other as we should, we become the full expression of His love. There is nothing better than to see people reach their full potential and help them accomplish their God-given dreams.
Seth loves everything outdoors, from kayaking to fly fishing. He and his wife, Theda (who is on staff as the Business/Office Manager), have one son who is married and has given them the beautiful gift of two grandchildren.
Seth and Theda work together and are passionate about being used by God to help provide a life-changing environment in the church that is focused on the simplicity of the gospel and the power of a personal relationship with God who loves us.
Chris is a native of Chicago but settled in Springfield in 1999 when he started his studies at Southwest Missouri State University. He and his wife, Catherine, were married in 2005. They have four children who are all active in the family ministries at Glendale.
Chris converted to Christianity in 2004 after spending years studying comparative religions. From atheist to theist to Christ follower, he pursued truth and found it in the Word of God.
In 2004 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in crime and society, but the Lord had other plans for his life. Chris felt called into ministry and began to lead small groups and teach Sunday school for college and career students. In 2008 he graduated from Missouri State with a Master of Science degree in counseling and is a licensed professional counselor.
Following his graduation he worked for the Greene County Children’s Division. He used that time to serve families and equip them to get through difficult situations. During that time he went back to graduate school, and in 2011 he graduated with a Master of Ministry degree from Harding University.
In 2012 he began to work in ministry part-time as an involvement minister, and in 2014 he became a full-time youth and family minister. The journey from making the decision to follow Jesus full-time was filled with pit stops and new learning experiences, but today Chris knows God used that time to prepare his heart, mind and body for the work He has for him to do.
Chris believes Christ is glorified most when His body works together, and this is why he believes in family ministry. He desires to see parents and children work together in their homes, communities and congregations to grow in favor and wisdom with man and God. As Jesus said to His disciples, “Love one another as I have loved you…By this all men will know that you are My disciplines, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35

Amy is our newest staff member and she loves working with children who are in preschool. She grew up as a preacher’s kid, so life in the church is part of who she is. Amy is married to Jason and they have two precious children.
Dana was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and moved to Joplin, Missouri, to attend Ozark Christian College in the 80s. She met her husband, Tom, and they have four children. They moved to Ozark, Missouri, in the early 2000s.
She loves kids and has worked with them for years. She is part of our Early Childhood Ministry, and specifically works as director of our Kids Korner Preschool (KKP), a preschool of Glendale for children ages 2 through 5.
