Jump Ahead

The building is a very busy place during the week. There are a number of connection groups and meetings that happen each day. In order to ensure that everything is organized and prepared, we have put in place some guidelines for building usage and requests.

Church-Wide Events - 3 months notice

• These are events that would include a large portion of the church population, a large portion of the building, or require church wide advertising.
• Examples include - Men's Breakfast, Worship Nights, Eggstravaganza, etc. 
  • These are almost always announced to the congregation.

Ministry Meetings/Events - 2 months notice

• These are smaller events that are typically recurring. They require advertising and may use a large portion of the building, but the audience is not as wide.
• Examples include - Parent Night Out, Volunteer Recruitment Meetings, a new connection group
  • These are typically announced to the congregation

Specific Ministry Meetings - 1 month notice

• These are meetings that do not require advertising, but are just between your ministry/group. 
• Examples include - Small Group Meetings, Prayer Team Meetings, Leadership meetings
  • These are not typically announced to the congregation. If you are wanting these advertised, they are typically included in the announcement emails, rotating slides, bathroom fliers, and the bulletin.

Any event, meeting, or information that is sent out to the congregation requires a graphic. We require at least 2 weeks to create and/or update a graphic in order to begin advertising. Please include your preferred date to begin advertising in the request.  Typical advertising is 4-6 weeks, so please keep that in mind when planning events and making your request. If you have a graphic you already would like to use, you can send that to admin@glendalechristian.org.

**You do not have to fill out a second graphic request if you already filled one out in the building request

If you would like something different for your ministry that is out of the typical realm of graphic requests (i.e. videos, booklets, etc), please fill out a graphic request and email admin@glendalechristian.org. The timeline and possibility of these are dependent on time and availability of staff and volunteers.

If we are able to accomodate these requests, please be prepared for a at least a two month wait period due to the high level of time and effort that these require.
