Vishal Pakhare

Worship Minister

vishal@glendalechristian.org
About Vishal
Vishal grew up in India, and served as a missionary in Tanzania with his wife Niki; they have three children, Kiyara, Anaya, and Kev.

Vishal's journey in worship leadership, missionary work, music production, songwriting, and child and youth education has uniquely equipped him for this role. Despite his time performing as a musician, he has always felt a deep calling to worship ministry. His previous experience in the United States strengthened this calling, and now he and his wife felt led to continue their ministry here.

Their passion for witnessing Jesus' work through creative arts and reaching people through worship, guided by the Holy Spirit, is truly inspiring. Vishal and his family are excited and incredibly grateful to join our community!

Levi Moberg

Youth Minister

levi@glendalechristian.org
About Levi
Like Gandalf who disrupts the peace of Bag-End and the Hobbits by brining adventure, Levi is passionate about pushing students "out the door" in their comfortable faith by helping them move from being passive participants of the church to being a part of the "priesthood of all believers" (1 Peter 2:9). Originally from SE Iowa, Levi has now lived in the Ozarks for 4 years and is excited to join the team at Glendale Christian Church.

Levi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Languages from Evangel University and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Glendale Christian Church, Levi taught high school Bible at New Covenant Academy (Springfield, MO).

He views his ultimate purpose as helping the next generation meet the living Christ in the same powerful way that he did when he was a teenager. He is dedicated to the training of teens to help them integrate into the church as capable members of the body of Christ as they mature into adulthood. This comes through deep discipleship, pastoral care, and the faithful teaching of Scripture. When he is not at GCC, Levi is usually reading theology or fiction or exploring the Ozarks with his wife, Kayla.

Leah Brown

Children's Minister

leah@glendalechristian.org
About Leah
Born and raised in Minnesota, Leah grew up immersed in church life as a minister's kid. From an early age, she discovered her love for working with children and quickly found her place in children’s ministry. Although she hadn’t initially envisioned working in a church, God’s plans led her to a deeper calling. During high school, Leah had a transformative experience with the Holy Spirit, which confirmed her path to ministry.

Leah attended Crossroads College in Rochester, MN, where she graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Theology, Family Youth and Community Studies, and Intercultural Studies. Throughout her journey, she has worked with children of all ages, including those with special needs, and feels deeply called to serve young hearts.

Leah and her husband Zac were married in 2019 and are the proud parents of their son, Theo. As foster parents, they share a heart for nurturing children in need. Leah is excited to serve the families at Glendale Christian Church and is passionate about partnering with parents to help kids grow in their faith and understand their significance as part of the church, regardless of their age.
